Have A Year Of Desire
Hello to a brand new year and new beginnings! Many are experiencing angst due to different world events and it is understandable!
We notice what is unfolding around us that isn’t of love is and the results aren’t pleasing to those with a big heart and sensitive soul.
That said, how about making falling into hate and despair about it not an option? If you match the fear and divisiveness and take action from a desperate and hopeless space, your connection to and awareness of the light we are birthing gets covered in your space.
Now the new paradigm is being birthed regardless. But isn’t it more fun to be part of it? To see and feel it emerging? To consciously turn your focus onto that which you desire to see created? To validate yourself and those who are putting love into action?
Things are shifting quickly as we watch structures that were put into place from hate and greed are dissolved.
People all over the world ARE waking up. Humanity IS more interested in finding solutions that help the ill, homeless, mentally ill, the incarcerated, the children, the elderly, our beautiful planet, the animals, our pure water and healthy food sources. There are more grassroots groups in place than have ever existed! Groups are gathering in the vein of love, simplicity, and the creation of a world that resulsts in a win/win for all.
You can help by finding one of these groups and volunteering, donating money or things they need. You help by being loving to your family and friends and neighbors. You help with meditation and prayer and by supporting your inner, spiritual space as well as your spiritual community. You help by living your dream and expressing your creative, joyful self!
Another way to facilitate the birth of love on our planet is through healing your own space of desire and forgiveness! Whenever you start to dwell on what can go wrong, find your meditation space and feed what you desire instead!
When you notice what’s not right and start to blame, instead find a way to help with the issue you feel strongly about like I mentioned above. If you desire people to get the healthcare they need then make calls, write emails, join a group, mediatate on it. All are healing, positive ways to effect change. Worry and blame do not help!
Your desire is so powerful. What do you desire? If you desire people getting the healthcare they need, then when you wake up in the morning, desire it! If you desire peace on our planet, wake up and desire it!
If you desire more money, love, the job of your dreams, a horse farm or a new Tesla, wake up and desire it! Then, notice all the arguments that arise about why you shouldn’t desire that thing or the arguments about desire being bad, and let them go! Breathe!
Desire makes the world go around and the universe listens to your desires. What you put your attention on signals the universe as to what you desire. So desire that which you value! And have fun with it!
Just because you desire something doesn’t mean you have to act on it. It’s really about having desire and not suppressing it! You may desire the entire cake, but just eat a piece! Have you learned desire is bad or not spiritual? Nothing can be farther from the truth! So enjoy the spontaneous freedom of desiring wonderful and even seemingly unimaginable things!
Then, free yourself even more by having a forgiveness fest! Forgive yourself and others. Through forgiveness you make way for more love to fill your space and overflow to the world around you.
When you have a desire and hear negative arguments about desiring, whether it is money, peace on earth, or a banana split, can you forgive those thoughts and the originator of those thoughts?
When you find yourself in judgement of someone or a group of people, instead of indulging what their problems are, choose another option!
There are many forgiveness exercises. One that I enjoy is from Avatar: The Compassion Project. Honesty with one’s self leads to compassion for others. And this compassion just translates into more love to fuel your desire!
With attention on the person or group your are judging, repeat each of the following sentences to yourself, reflect on it then move on to the next sentence. “Just like me, this person is seeking some happiness for his/her life. Just like me, this person is trying to avoid suffering in his/her life. Just like me, this person has known sadness, loneliness and despair. Just like me, this person is seeking to fulfill his/her worth. Just like me, this person is learning about life.”
Breathe and allow yourself space to feel lighter and more focused on yourself than the other person! After all, we can’t change them anyhow! But we can heal and deepen within ourselves! And this results in the ilumination of your light and love within you to fuel your desire.
Forgiveness is a process. In some instances, it can take time to bring a relationship into love. But it’s worth it! Remind your body that forgiving someone doesn’t mean you have to see them or are condoning behavior. You are choosing to stop wasting your precious energy on thoughts that will never take you to a spiritual answer to what you wish to see in your life and in the world. Everything we offer at the center is created to assist one on this loving path. Enjoy a new year of desire and forgiveness!
May you be blessed and supported on your path. ❦
