Finding Love and Forgiveness Through Past Lives
Thank God for my intuition. It led me to the book Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss when I was 19 and I couldn’t put it down. When I finished the book I thought “I will do this for people one day.”.
Fast forward ten years and thanks to my intuition, I’m sitting in my hypnotherapist’s office remembering a lifetime when I was an attractive man about 33 years old with black hair. I was in the middle of a tiny town with dirt roads and single-story wooden buildings somewhere in the Midwestern part of The United States. It was at least 200 years ago and I was standing there watching my wife. She was on the other side of the road holding our son who was just an infant. I remember thinking how beautiful she was. She was in her early 20’s with fair skin and long curly brown hair. She seemed to float as she walked in her blue and white flowered dress which belled down to the ground.
Appreciating a woman’s beauty in a man’s body felt completely different than appreciating how attractive a man was in a woman’s body. In that moment, a brand new sense of compassion for men filled me. The reason I was doing this past life work was to end my pattern of problematic pride-filled power struggles which had surfaced again in my current romantic relationship with a wonderful man. I knew my intuitive hypnotherapist was the perfect person for me to work with as soon as I looked into her sea green eyes the first time I met her.
So there I was watching my wife as she noticed me and smiled. My first impulse was to go to her but I didn’t because I was still angry with her about something which had happened that morning. I thought she can come to me. She began to move towards me; then, from out of nowhere came a covered wagon. I practically flew into the street to get them out of the way.
Then I flashed to another scene from this lifetime and I am an older man walking with a limp and a cane. I am alone because I lost them in the accident. I died alone. Fortunately, my hypnotherapist guided me to recreate that life which is powerful hypnotherapy healing technique. As soon as I saw my wife in the middle of town that day I chose to forgive her and let it go. I moved towards her instantly. The wagon still came speeding by but I was able to get there fast enough to get them out of the way. I still got hit and walked with a limp and a cane but my life was filled with so much more love because they were in it. On the day I was dying, they were standing next to my bed and I was experiencing more love flowing between us than I have ever come close to experiencing in my current life. I died with peace.
I learned the lesson. Choose love and forgiveness. You never know how much time you have with someone. Our choices have a much greater impact in myriads of ways we can only begin to understand.
Fast forward another 10 years and I have been facilitating past life regressions and healing for people for the last 10 years using my intuition every step of the way. The process is a lot like a dance that organically unfolds between the guidance of two souls. Though my training has been necessary, my intuition has been the most important part of every decision I make both in my work and in my everyday life. I am grateful to the teachers and mentors I have had in my life who have helped me cultivate the incredible gifts my intuition has offered.
